Small Unmanned Aircraft - Drones

ATTENTION PILOTS: If you hold a pilot certificate and have a current BFR, adding a Remote Pilot Certification with a small UAS rating is as easy as 1-2-3.

1. Take the Part 107 Course on FAA Safety Team website - It will take approximately 2 hours to complete this material

2. Take the 35 question online exam at the end of the coursework.

3. Login to IACRA and fill out the application for a Remote Pilot Certificate. You will need to contact a CFI, DPE, or FAA Representative to validate your information.

That's it! Your FAA-issued permanent certificate will arrive in the mail.
